Today, 15 February, the Cooperation Agreemend was signed between the Romanian Agency for International Development Cooperation (RoAid) and the Smart City and Mobility Association (ARSCM), by Cătălin Harnagea, General Director of Roaid and Eduard Dumitraşcu, president of ARSCM.
The document signed today is a first step towards expanding Romania’s international development cooperation projects into a new sector: the development of creative-intelligent communities.
The Smart City and Mobility Association aims to develop creative and smart city communities; to promote the concepts of the Smart City industry, to educate decision-makers, to conduct studies and specialized works. The Association will be a partner for Roaid in the transfer of expertise for the beneficiary countries development.
ARSCM represents the first professional organization in Romania of those participating in the development of the cities – developers, producers, service providers and beneficiaries – ministries, municipalities, local councils, etc. In this respect, the association supports institutions and companies that want to develop cities and communities. It supports also the beneficiaries with concrete solutions, projects, funding options and specialists.
