Completion of the renovation work at the Regional Chernivtsi’s Oncology Hospital

A delegation of the Romanian Agency for International Development Cooperation, led by Deputy Director-General Cezar Catalin Marin, conducted a working visit to Chernivtsi, Ukraine, to assess the conclusion of renovation and modernisation work at the Regional Oncology Hospital. The work was conducted based on the financial agreement signed with the Ukrainian authorities in December 2018.

The chief physician of the Oncology Hospital, Ilia Taşciuc, thanked Romania as a donor state for the support and the much-needed financial support. The Romanian part was informed that the new radiology section has been working for more than two weeks.

According to the Romanian Consul General in Chernivtsi, H.E. Irina Loredana Stănculescu, this is a valuable project to the bilateral relationship between Romania and Ukraine, an example to be followed in the future.

The RoAid delegation also brought modern televisions for the hospital rooms in the radiology section, which were offered to the RoAid Agency by the Romanian business environment.
